But considering that the boyfriend is too busy - and the expense of the three ferries and one bullet train I was going to take - and the temps of northern China and South ... The plans have changed... and I understand that you don't know the old plans..so quickly I was going to fly into Tokyo and hang with the boyfriend for a few weeks, before heading to Busan, Seoul, Qingdao, Beijing, Shanghai, and then continue on to SE Asia. But considering that the boyfriend is too busy - and the expense of the three ferries and one bullet train I was going to take - and the temps of northern China and South Korea - its better to dump the whole northern portion.

So, now I'm planning on flying into Bangkok and making that my home base while travelling throughout Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, and maybe more. I spent much of today just collecting the visa, entrance and exit policies for the above listed countries. Its getting late tonight, but I want to collect some info on the cultural/religious sites I want to visit... and leave a couple forum questions for those doing what I will be in about five weeks.
